When Lisa wrote a post about starting an Altered Book Round Robin sometime last summer, I hesitantly told her I was interested. First off, I had never heard of such a thing before. What the heck is an Altered Book?
Secondly, having the Caboose has really put a damper on anything creative in my house. Some days I barely make it to the bathroom, let alone try and create artwork. And also, I am rather modest about my scrapbooking....I don't think I'm that good. I'm a scientist at heart - not an artist. (Just ask my mom about my drawing ability - it doesn't exist)
However, when I pulled out an old used "Learn about Photography" book, inspiration struck gold. I have now Altered a book and guess what....I LOVED IT. I am pumped and excited to receive everyone else's and alter theirs too! So - I sent my book out today - heading first to Mama Voss and then onward from there.
There are 10 women participating - all bloggers and ready for the challenge. Hopefully - in about 15-20 weeks I will get my book back. I can't wait to see how it turns out!
In the meantime, I may have glue on my fingers and a few paper cuts. But, that won't slow me down.
You are the second person I know who is participating in this challenge. It looks like fun and I'm really looking forward to seeing the results.

Is this post written in English? Because I don't understand a word of it.

Looks lovely! What does eveyone else do to it though? Is it a scrap book or a book with words?

I was wondering the same as Karisma.

I was impressed when I saw it.
Had I tried it, I would have ruined a lot of books.

I love it. Gluey fingers are the best part because you get to pick it off afterwards.
