He ran from the living room to the family room, tripped on his own two feet (we think), and face-planted into the hardwood floors. We're looking at the next 3-4 years of this:
Yes, we rushed him to Urgent Care. He sees the dentist tomorrow to evaluate the other baby teeth and to check on those developing permanent teeth. The tooth came out - root and all. My poor little baby.

Poor thing, I hope he is ok!

Ouch! Tough lesson to learn - don't run in the house. Ope the dentist reports all is well!

Oh, poor babe. It's so hard to see our little guys get hurt. I always get this pang in my stomach. Huggers.

Ouch! That must've hurt so bad. Oh, little boys do trip a lot from all the running they do. What a brave little man you have. I hope he gets well fast.

I think the dentist did a lot in order to keep his other teeth from falling off prematurely. Well, it's best to look at the bright side and be thankful that not all the front teeth fell off. He would grow some permanent teeth in time, but until then, you have an adorable gap-toothed son to love!
