And then on the 8th day, he said, "Let it be Nemo!"
I suppose one must have attitude on their 3rd birthday. Otherwise what would be the point of being three?
The Caboose knew what he wanted. His mind was made up.
About a month ago, I was playing with a puppet. The conversation went something like this:
Puppet: So, are you having a birthday soon?
Caboose: Yes.
Puppet: Will you have a cake on your birthday?
Caboose: Yes! I'm going to have a blue Nemo cake.
The Puppet holder was very surpirsed and began immediately looking for Nemo cake designs.
About a week later we were walking through the local grocery store and saw some pinatas hanging by the Doritos. The Caboose cried out..."Pinatas! I'm going to have a pinata for my birthday."
The party theme was set.
The Caboose was happy.
The Nemo cake was blue. Barbequed fresh spring Chinook salmon delighted all our tastebuds. Presents were ripped open faster than lightning. Grandparents were hugged. Cousins were played with. Candy was eaten. Candles were spit upon.
It was a good 3rd birthday.
