Driving along HWY99 toward Corvallis, the kids and I passed a long line of traffic heading out of town after the OSU Beaver football game. Orange flags predominated the cars and SUV's. One green Jeep caught my eye and sure enough, I noticed David in the driver's seat.
Before I could even point him out, Jammin' yelled from the back seat. "Hey, I saw Daddy's car!"
"I saw him too." I smiled.
"Do you know how I can tell that's Daddy's car?" Jammin' asked. Several thoughts came to mind. But since kids don't really want you to answer I remained mum.
"No, how?"
"Because his license plate has a green tree!".
You just can't make this stuff up folks.

I wonder when he'll notice all the other green trees

*snort*
My son can tell you which is his father's car and how it's different than the other ice blue Honda Civic hybrid that also "lives" in our neighborhood and whose kid attends the same martial arts academy. His Papa's car has tail lights that look "just a little bit different" than the other same model same year car. Yeah. Right.
