Terror Alert

  • Here’s what I think the truth is: We are all addicts of fossil fuels in a state of denial, about to face cold turkey. And like so many addicts about to face cold turkey, our leaders are now committing violent crimes to get what little is left of what we’re hooked on. kurt vonnegut

NaBloPoMo #31 or A Double Retraction on a Day that Doesn't Exist

Yesterday's Post really sucked (or blew depending on which direction you are facing).  I was exhausted after eating pie and turkey non-stop for three days.  But there is no excuse for such a lame send-off to November.  In fact, I had intended to leave NaBloPoMo with a post worthy of the blogosphere....a rocking post that brought in tons of readership (or at least delighted my readers....that is all I wanted).  A Post that left my friends wanting to comment instead of a pass-by in the Bloglines.

That isn't going to happen today, but at least I will feel a little better by doing the following:

I am printing a double retraction today.  IGNORE YESTERDAY's POST (the mass majority did anyway).

Also - Please IGNORE my TEAM JACOB post that I wrote so carelessly back in October.  What in the heck was I thinking?  Jacob?  Seriously?  Yes, I watched Twilight, the Movie Eduardyesterday and after leaving the theater wanted that cute little Cedric Diggory to take a bite out of me.  I so thoroughly enjoyed the movie that I am going to REREAD the entire series again before I lend it to my best friend, Vee (sorry, but not really, you can have it in a few weeks).

So, now with all that over, December can officially begin.  Thank you.

I still need to read the rest of the series. Loved the movie, though.

Hey, I'm commenting from China - how cool is that? Come by my blog for pics!

I'm waiting for it to go to video. I don't have anyone who wants to go with! At least not yet. I have started to corrupt all my friends that have boys by telling them about the first book I just read. Bwahahaha.

I am totally on Edwards side! True love always wins! But I just finished New Moon, so maybe am not up to date enough?

Haven't read the book or seen the movie. But I like the name Jacob better than the name Edward, so I'll say I'm on team Jacob. ;)

I'm in the middle of Breaking Dawn right now. I'm still on the fence with the team Jacob/Edward thing.

I totally did not ignore you yesterday! I just could not think of anything to say! I was thinking to myself I had no excuse, but then again I did eat too much and I went to church! WOW! Is there hope for my little heathens yet?

ahem... pardon me.

Okay, this is me ignoring you.

Hahahahah. Umm. Oh, yeah. Hahahahahah. Ahhh. Eating crow sucks, doesn't it? And, didn't he nail Edward? Also, I don't know how they are going to make Jacob grow a foot for New Moon. And, in light of Midnight Sun, I love Edward all the more.

My oldest 2 daughters are devouring the books right now, and then it's Mom's turn.

Team Jacob here! I'm going to try to see the movie this week.

I can't believe it's December...time does fly when your old..lol
It's hard to come up with blog worthy stuff..but actually you write about your life in general...sometimes it's not all excitement.
Have a happy December!

This year has just flown by! Can't wait to see Twilight, will get there eventually. :)

Happy December! I am still on team Jacob, but haven't seen the movie yet. Do you think I will change my mind?
