The Caboose went to bed at 10pm last night and slept 5 hours. That was great, but considering I didn't get to sleep until after midnight because I was PLURKING, the long sleep didn't matter.
And when I did finally fall asleep I was PLURKING all night long in my head...dreaming of time-lines and one-liners.
However, as fun as it is to Plurk, there were some subjects where I needed my blog to talk about. Especially when the subject is ignored by all Plurkers.
One thing I wanted to discuss was the new ad by JCPenney: Click HERE to view.
Look familiar? I wonder if those kids in the commercial even know what they are portraying. Did they watch the movie before acting out their parts? For some reason this ad really irks me. Is NOTHING sacred? John Hughes, where are you?
On a completely different subject, Jammin' experienced his first bicycle accident. His foot caught in the pedal and we believe he went head over the handle-bars. But, no one was there to witness this event. He arrived inside the house screaming. He was at his grandparents. I was not there. Dave was gone to get pizza. Uncle Ed managed to calm him down and clean him up. Ugly huh?
Speaking of ugly, we are driving NORTH for a family get-together. No, the family isn't ugly, but the drive is. Normally, a 6 hour drive will be turned into something of an all day event with a newborn. I plan on taking a bottle.** I don't know how the Caboose is going to like sitting in his carseat for that length of time. As I said, it is going to be a very ugly trip. The scenery will be lovely as we are heading 12 miles just South of the Canadian border....the San Juan Islands are viewable from my dad's house.
And thus, I will not be able to Plurk, Blog, or check e-mail. Maybe that's a good thing.
**Full of milk, people - but now that I think about it, a nice litre for me might not be a bad idea. Dave's the driver...I could show up inebriated.
