Terror Alert

  • Here’s what I think the truth is: We are all addicts of fossil fuels in a state of denial, about to face cold turkey. And like so many addicts about to face cold turkey, our leaders are now committing violent crimes to get what little is left of what we’re hooked on. kurt vonnegut

A video to watch - I admit, I teared up.  A story of sportmanship and true character of spirit.

I'm a little choked up. Hopefully we're raising kids with that kind of strength of character.

Dude, I am TOTALLY tearing up here.. What a sweet story. Just when the world seems to have given in to hate and selfishness, somebody goes and doesn't something like this. Very touching. Thanks for sharing, sis.

Great story, sport makes good people (except for Ty Cobb of course).

I hate when people make me cry.

Ha! I have a confession to make. I teared up the first time I saw this video too. That is serious sportsmanship. Refreshing. Now, I'm gonna go hide my face in shame and not tell anyone that I also teared up once while watching the end of Notting Hill.

I kinda thought the first basemen just wanted to get rid of her !!!
just kidding.
yes it gave me a tear - up

I read about this last week and was so heartened to know that there are young people out there who show great character.

GREAT story of triumph over potential tragedy! I would be so proud to be the mom of those girls!!

And SHAME on you for tugging at the heartstrings!

:)

GAH! I have to go out this morning. The make-up has been put on already. And I'm sitting her with tears running *SNIFF!!* Oh man that was great and well worth re-applying make-up!!

great story....I have tears in my eyes also what incredible girls!!

Thanks for sharing ... and yes, I have tears.

I've seen this video before, and yes this is sportmanship at it's best.something that the socalled pro's need to relearn.
