Terror Alert

  • Here’s what I think the truth is: We are all addicts of fossil fuels in a state of denial, about to face cold turkey. And like so many addicts about to face cold turkey, our leaders are now committing violent crimes to get what little is left of what we’re hooked on. kurt vonnegut

Send a Postcard

Tracey and her children are collecting postcards from around the world.  They are participating in Postcrossing but have decided to expand it one step further.

They are hoping to collect one postcard from all 50 states by the end of the summer.  Buttercup and I went to the store yesterday and found one suitable from Oregon.  We popped it right into the mail and now it is headed on its way to join their collective.

So - check out her iPost blog and send a postcard!

I am even considering starting a little Postcrossing myself - but most likely will wait until Fall when I've got this baby stuff under control!

Thanks Karmyn! We can't wait to get it! My daughter is home sick today from school, so I just read your post to her and it cheered her up! Thanks for the plug too ;0) I will let you know when I get it!

Now if they were collecting from countries around the world I could join in!

What a COOL idea; blogging is kind of like pen-palling at times, but post crossing? Snail mail's the BEST!

Are you sure you don't wanna start it now to keep your mind occupied til "he" arrives on May 22?

;)

Do you know that my son headed out into the front yard in my bustierre (spelling anyone?) .... but the neighbor boys looked at him so incredulously he raced RIGHT BACK INTO THE HOUSE! It was so quick I couldn't have possibly caught it with my camera.

Besides ... I was busy strapping a bra to my head. Just peeked out the window and was lucky enough to see it.

OK. Anything going on over there tonight? Waters breaking? Contractions? I'm posting my guess.

Postcrossing? Postcards? Sounds like fun!!
