Movie Line -Part Two Revealed
I was feeling quite uninspired to participate in Fun Monday today. Please go visit KITTEN and all the others who wrote about their favorite Hero today. Although I have had some heroes in my life, today I didn't feel I had the correct words to honor them. (something about pregnancy-brain)
And so onto totally frivolous things - Here are the answers to my movie lines:
1. I say hurl. If you blow chunks and she comes back, she's yours. But if you spew and she bolts, then it was never meant to be. WAYNE'S WORLD - Love this movie - I've probably watched it 50 times and could watch it again. Of course, it came out during my college years so that is probably why. Every single character reminds me of someone I used to know.
2. Freddy, as a younger man, I was a sculptor, a painter, and a musician. There was just one problem: I wasn't very good. As a matter of fact, I was dreadful. I finally came to the frustrating conclusion that I had taste and style, but not talent. I knew my limitations. We all have our limitations, Freddy. Fortunately, I discovered that taste and style were commodities that people desired. Freddy, what I am saying is: know your limitations. You are a moron. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, starring Steve Martin as Freddy, and Micheal Caine as Lawrence. A hilarious comedy about two con-men who end up working together. The ending totally throws you.
3. Ladies and gentlemen, you are such a wonderful crowd, we'd like to play a little tune for you. It's one of my personal favorites and I'd like to dedicate it to a young man who doesn't think he's seen anything good today - Cameron Frye, this one's for you. DUH - Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Who hasn't seen this movie?
4. Throughout human history, we have been dependent on machines to survive. Fate, it seems, is not without a sense of irony. The Matrix. This movie still boggles my mind.
5. Great. She brings home a sword. If you ask me, she should've brought home a man. Mulan - I think this is one of the BEST Disney animated features. The woman kicks butt, and whoa - she comes from a home with BOTH parents.
6. This is a dude who, 700 years ago, totally ravaged China, and who, we
were told, 2 hours ago, totally ravaged Oshman's Sporting Goods. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Keanu was at his best here, of course. And in an interesting twist of Real Life - a good friend of mine was in a legal battle against the estate of Alex Winter's (Ted) father...(he supposedly gave his dance studio to the dancers, which my friend was a part of...and Alex Winter contested it. I don't remember the outcome).
7. Didn't you see Fatal Attraction?.[..].Well I saw it and it scared the shit out of me. It scared the shit out of every man in America. Duh - I had to put a romantic movie in here - Sleepless in Seattle. Loved it, always will.
8. How could I forget about you? You're the only person I know. Bourne Identity. This movie was an action-packed believable thriller. I loved Matt Damon in it.
9. I'll bet someone back east is going, "Now why don't he write?" Two men on a prairie - one good looking, riding a horse, and the other - a greasy gross farting machine. They are staring at a long-dead skeleton with an arrow sticking out of its back.....Dances With Wolves.
10. Her name is not Sticks! She's Elora Dannen, the future empress of Tir Asleen and the last thing she's gonna want is a hairy chest! WILLOW....I loved this movie for two reasons - one, it was all Fantasy and two, it had gorgeous Val Kilmer in it.

Wayne's World and Bill & Ted's. You're quoting some classics here.
