Baseball.... or in our case, another year of T-ball. This time around, with a baby looming closer, we switched Leagues to the smaller town (we live almost EXACTLY b/n two towns so have our choice of where to play)....a 10 minute closer drive to the games was a good thought.
However, a smaller league has its drawbacks.
*The fields aren't as nice.
*The team names are based on Minor League Baseball Teams (Rockhounds? who the heck are they?) compared to last year's NY Yankees.
* The uniforms aren't as nice.
* We had to participate in the fundraiser. The bigger town League doesn't require T-ballers to participate in any solicitation.
* And finally - the games aren't quite as organized (seemed to be some discrepancies between the teams and rules of T-ball play).
But, we are 10 minutes closer to the games which will be a good thing in May. And really, when it all comes down to it - there is only one thing that truly matters - and that is how the kids play the game:
RUN JAMMIN' RUN!
CATCH JAMMIN' CATCH!
THROW JAMMIN' THROW!!!

ROCKHOUNDS? Oh Lord.
Well, I'm SOOOOO happy to see him participating in the game! I remember a few years back, he just stood there like a bump on a log. ha! Good job Jammin!!

We have three kids in soccer this spring, and one vehicle. The oldest two girls both made it into the developmental level, which means the games are all further from our house than last year. I don't know how we're going to do it.

That's cool that you live between two towns and can choose where to play.
I LOVE all your action shots!

Wow! He and I have the same running style. Cute pics! My third grader is in his first year of kid pitch. I hope he doesn't get hit too often by wild pitches.

What a cutie! I can't wait to get my kids back in sports. The town we live in now has just terrible sports leagues.

My kids don't care for organized sports yet. My 8 yr old even complains about gymnastics but loves to show off his skills to anyone who will look. I think I might try them again in the fall. Fun photos.

I love that first shot. You can just SEE the effort & concentration.

If they give awards for effort, that first photo ought to earn Jammin' a trophy!

Looks like he's got it all under control! I loved watching T-ball when my girls were little. The boys unfortunately prefer motorbikes.
Your parcel is in the mail. I forgot to put a letter in with it, but Im sure you will know its from me! (Well at least I finally managed to send it off LOL)

Love the pictures! Our town only has 4 teams for baseball in Joshua's age group they don't really do uniforms per se either. Oh and our baseball fields? There gravel.
